Canada is a Beautiful Country
The Canadian Land
It is said that the Brazilian Christ the Redeemer is one of the 7 wonders of the modern world, along with the Taj Mahal, Great Wall of China, ruins in Jordan, Machu Pichu pyramid in Mexico and the Coliseum. There are also other ancient pyramids, the Babylon gardens, statues, temples, mausoleums and others. Canada also has its own natural wonders.
One of the great differentials of Canada in this battle of wonders is its natural beauty. There are some beautiful buildings here and there, but the Canadian nature is what really stands out. Let’s check it out.
Sleeping Giant – ON
The name is correct. It’s possible to see a giant lying in these rock formations at Sibley peninsula, in Thunder Bay, Ontario. You can check it at Ontario Parks.
Niagara Falls – ON
Niagara Falls, is in the US side, however the best vies is in the Canadian side, and the view is what really matters. If you came to Canada and didn’t go to Niagara, you missed one of the Canadian wonders. It is the same as if you never came to Canada. It is a must see. You can check it at Ontario Travel and Niagara Falls Tourism.
Bay of Fundy – NB / NS
Bay of Fundy is the largest lagoon in the world. It is towards New Brunswick and Nova Scotia in the Gulf of Maine, and also shares that beauty with the USA. The Bay of Fundy is known to have one of the highest tides in the world. Each day about 100 billion tons of seawater enter and leave the bay during the tide cycle. It’s a fantastic thing to see. You can visit on foot when the tide is low, and kayaking when the tide is high. You can check it at Nova Scotia website.
Nahanni National Park Reserve – NT
This reserve is approximately 500km west of Yellowknife. Although it’s far, it is a worthy trip. It is a beautiful place to visit with a wonderful set of crazy canyons, waterfalls and endless natural beauties. You can check it at Parks Canada.
Northern Lights
When we talk about the Wonders of the World we can’t forget to mention the aurora borealis. Those who have had the opportunity to see, got mesmerized by it: it is something out of our reality. And in the northern part of Canada, there are several points for you to enjoy this marvelous scene of nature. You can check it at Whitehorse (YT), Yellowknife (NT), Iqaluit (NU), Kuujjuaq (QC) and Battle Harbor (NL), among others.
The Rockies – BC / AB
The Rockies are located between Alberta and BC. They really look like that postal card picture of a computer screen saver. You can check it at Alberta website.

You and any applicant that want to qualify for any immigration program are required to follow and provide the answers to the mandatory steps listed:

What is your English/French proficiency? Provide the score if you have taken any standard language test such as IELTS or TEF. Send us a copy of your English Test Certificate.
(3) – Questions consist of:

Canada offers full scholarships for students from Latin America
An example of citizenship and good reception of immigrants, Canada is offering scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students living in Latin American countries. Throughout the year, the Canadian government will offer 400 scholarships for periods of four and six months of study at various colleges in the country. The package also includes ticket, school supplies, health insurance, lodging and visa.
Candidates must be enrolled in a university, attending a graduate, master’s or doctoral degree in any area of knowledge. The value of the aid may reach $9,700 Canadian dollars.
Currently, Canada is the main destination for Brazilians who want to exchange. Security, beautiful scenery and high level education are some of the determining factors for the country’s success among students in Brazil.

5 Canadian universities to keep an eye on
When talking about Canadian universities, we are talking about universities that are among the best in the world. Canada has the University of Toronto (UofT), McGill University (in Montreal), the University of Waterloo and so on. But there are others who are part in the “Best” team, even if we did not hear much of them. What are those universities?
Canada has five educational institutions that have stood out, with much advanced and differentiated programs of study, great investments in infrastructure and technologies, as well as advances in prominent research.
Algoma University
It draws the motto of the university: “Small university, Great education”. Focusing on undergraduate courses, she stands out in an interesting point of teaching: multiculturalism, not like you’re already tired of seeing in Canada, but in a line that involves Aboriginal populations as well as other cultures. The Canadian government has invested heavily in this differential, aiming at distance learning. The lines of study have a strong emphasis on environmentalism. Not to mention the student-teacher ratio that is excellent at Algoma.
Mount Allison
Recently this institution received a contribution of no less than $ 13 million for the creation of an environmental innovation center on its campus. Objective: research on the effects of climate change on the maritime ecosystem. Not to mention the acquisition of numerous high-tech equipment, used right there for this: science and ecology. Although it is located in a tiny city in New Brunswick, the money that has been put there crosses the border.
University of Lethbridge
ULeth is a university, let’s say, quite young. It’s only 50 years dedicated to education. And to celebrate the 50’s, the University wants to distribute more scholarships this year. It is also another one that has received heavy investment from both the government and private initiative to upgrade what has already been done in research and development, and to attract new students.
Ryerson University
You’ve probably heard of Ryerson. In fact, the demand for this institution has increased a lot in recent years. It has grown 10% in the last two years, and 50% in the last decade. The Toronto campus does not stop growing, and its facilities are to leave anyone’s mouth open. And other very “futuristic” campuses are coming around. The scope of the programs is also well in this line linked in the coming decades – highlight to a Master of Engineering and Entrepreneurship Innovations, with a bias in the wave of start-ups.
University of Windsor
The University of Windsor, without exaggeration, does not stop to progress. Every year new and equipped buildings are born, new lines of research, new study areas, and new investments coming. Last year the Ontario government injected $85.8 million dollars into the university, targeting mostly automotive research. Other millions were destined to the development of Scientific Centers – for people to go there and create, to learn, to develop, to invent, etc. And do not think that other areas of education (like Humanities and Biology) are helpless, a lot of money has been employed in these areas as well.

Immigration Rules
Over 1,000 permanent residents have been deported from Canada for non-compliance with Immigration rules.
Canada is a good and welcoming country, however one must follow the guidelines, otherwise things will not be so easy. According to CBSA (“Canada Border Services Agency”) around 1,400 immigrants, with their permanent resident visas, are deported per year for failing to comply with Immigration determinations.
We already spoke about Canada being a country of immigrants. Thousands of people arrive in Canada every year. All this immigrants face an extensive immigration program, well detailed, long lasting, expensive and well planned, and may last for years. However, having a permanent resident visa does not mean you are a citizen with full powers, which many people dream of.
Immigration Canada determines that a permanent resident person to remain the status in Canada must live in Canada for at least two years (730 days) in a five year period (during this time you must be physically in Canada. Otherwise, Canada will deport or not accept your entry. Between the years of 2010 and 2014, the average number people deported was 1,400 persons per year, just because they did not observe this basic rule. In Quebec region this number triples.
Obviously many appeal to the “Humanitarian & Compassionate grounds”, claiming a variety of reasons. However, only 1 in 10 appeals succeed. If you are an immigrant with a permanent resident status, do not make mistakes, or you will lose your status.

- Elaboração de peças judiciais de acordo com a terminologia forense e artigos legais (lei);
- Garantia de cumprimento de prazos;
- Comunicação/contato com as companhias de seguros, testemunhas, peritos,médicos, etc.;
- Pesquisas de jurisprudência (decisões dos tribunais) para embasar a sua reivindicação;
