CANADA, VOTED ONE OF THE BEST PLACES IN THE WORLD TO LIVE.
Recently the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) based in Paris, voted Canada as one of the world’s best places to live.
The report Better Life Index, published in late May 2013, analyzed 34 most industrialized nations in 11 topics, including income, health and life satisfaction.
In the ranking, Canada came third, losing only to Switzerland and Australia. The United States ranked sixth and thirtieth Brazil came in near the end of the list.
The highest scores were in Canada for health, environment, education, community safety and life satisfaction.
According to the report:
“Generally speaking, Canadians feel more satisfied with their lives than the average of the other countries analyzed. 82% of people say they have more positive experiences in day-to-day (feelings of rest, pride in any accomplishment, joy, etc) than negative experiences (worry, sadness, boredom, etc). ”
No wonder Canadians are so receptive and welcoming!
